There Is No Such Thing As A Bad Dog…
When the owner terms the dog as bad, perhaps they should look at their own behavior. It is frustrating when a dog simply jumps on your clean clothes as you are taking a walk down the road. When your front yard turns into a ready made toilet for your next door neighbor’s dog, it can be equally irritating. These dogs are only as irritating as the children who have not learnt any lessons in life; and you call them bad dogs?
What is wrong with the kids or the pet when the concerned adults are not doing their duties? It is wise decision to take the help of a dog trainer to learn the tricks of handling this pet without spoiling its personality. There is a saying amongst trainers however that it is far easier to train dogs than the people that own them! Both owners and neighbors get angry when they hear barking which although irritating is quite normal behavior. Remember when they bark, they are trying to communicate, so if you shout or punish on them for this, it will only result in puzzling the poor creature.

Well, just like a young child or baby, it needs attention, food or something to drink. A barking dog can also be a strong deterrent to burglars, so completely suppressing its bark might not be in your best interest. Many owners make the mistake of letting a puppy bark as they please but change their attitude when they grow older. You could learn from your trainer how to reinforce certain behaviors in a puppy, which you desire, by giving them the occasional gift for being good.

Well, simply learn to reward him when he does something which is ‘desired’ behavior. There are many behaviors which are part of the breed of the dog so it is important to remember that you can teach your pet to go against these. The best option for getting certain specific behavior is to acquire your pet from a breed which displays those traits.

Well, when you train them with patience, resolve and of course, a great deal of affection.
