The beats which interest you will play a big part in what you decide though. Some people download beats with the sole purpose of practising stuff they have created by playing them on top of the beats. Altenatively, taking a beat you have located and trying to improvise on it is another way to go. Slowing the beat down or speeding it up are just some of the ways you can go about this.
