Adult Education and Community Development
When you have to wake up to take a leak five times a night, sometimes you just want to pack it in and give up on life. But hundreds of adult education programs tell me that life is not ready to give up on you. So what are you going to do with those chances?
Community development is something that is taught a lot in adult education. If you aren’t ever going to work in a regular office, you could still make yourself very useful to the environment.
Actually, adult education works basically in two ways. There are the people who teach and the people who learn. And you know what, you cannot learn unless you want to learn. You must have heard the saying that you can take the horse to the river So despite all the cool adult education programs in the United States, if you don’t want to learn, you cant be taught.
Much of adult education includes university credit programs that enable you to lay claims on things you thought had passed you by. If it thought such was available to me, Id take it in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t spend hours thinking about it like I think you will now.
The complexity of an adult education program determines how long it will last, and what demands the program will place on the people who are on it. If you are going into one of those, you should have an idea what that is before you do it.
