• Does the manufacturer provide a guarantee?

Consider who the manufacturer is. Do they have a long history of quality, who are the real people behind the company and what is their story? This is the hardest criteria to judge because few of us can actually visit the factories in China where most of the bottles are made. Again, as with most things in life, we have to make a judgement call on whether we trust the company and what they are saying.
